Top Waiver Wire Pickups For Week 11

In light of two good waiver wire options this week already through the Thursday night games, I decided to write a super early post that I will continue to update throughout the week.

Here are the top waiver wire pickups for week 11, in order from top to bottom by position…

QB –

Carson Palmer, OAK: Palmer is proving that he’s still got it. He threw for 299 yards and two TDs and is still available in about half of Yahoo leagues.

Matt Leinart, HOU: With Matt Schaub out for the season, Leinart will be the guy in Houston. Add in the fact that Andre Johnson is probable to return in week 12 and Houston arguably has the best running attack, he’s in a fruitful situation.

RB -

Kendall Hunter, SF: With Frank Gore banged up with an ankle injury and now a knee injury, look for Hunter to get the bulk of the carries.

Chris Ogbonnaya, CLE: As long as Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty are still out, he will get enough carries to get you ten fantasy points or so.

Lance Ball, DEN: Knowshon Moreno is out for the season and Willis McGahee is banged up. Look for Ball to get an increased workload going forward.

WR -

Laurent Robinson, DAL: The top waiver wire pickup last week is still available in about half of Yahoo leagues. Robinson had an outstanding game against the Bills going for 73 yards on three receptions and two TDs. Grab him if he’s still out there.

Denarius Moore, OAK: With Ford going out of the game with an ankle injury, Moore stepped up as Palmer’s go to guy. He went off for 123 yards on five receptions and two TDs. Keep an eye on Ford’s status as it will affect Moore’s production.

Earl Bennett, CHI: Another top waiver wire pickup last week has emerged once again this week. Bennett went for 81 yards on six receptions and continues to be Jay Cutler’s top target.

Damian Williams, TEN: I recommended him last week but due to another productive fantasy outing, he gets another plug from me. Williams went for a team high 107 yards on five receptions with a TD.

Greg Little, CLE: Just when you thought he wasn’t going to get you any fantasy production, he has a decent day going for 84 yards on six receptions.

Vincent Brown, SD: Brown stepped up big for an injured Malcom Floyd going for 97 yards on five receptions with one TD. This is another injury replacement you’ll have to keep an eye on. Brown may have earned a spot in the starting lineup with this performance but Floyd’s status will still affect his production.

Harry Douglas, ATL: Stepping up for Julio Jones who re-aggravated his hamstring, Douglas went for 133 yards on eight receptions. Keep an eye on Jones’ injury at will directly affect Douglas’ fantasy production.

TE -

Brent Celek, PHI: Not a huge day for any of the Eagles today really, but Celek did get a team high 53 yards on four receptions. He still remains a big part of the Eagles’ offense.

Ed Dickson, BAL: Dickson had a huge day going for 79 yards on ten receptions with two TDs. In PPR leagues, Dickson is a solid waiver add.
